"Sip and See" in SB

On our last night in Santa Barbara we had a little wine and apps party for family friends to come over, "sip" wine and "see" the baby. It was great to see everyone!

The day before we headed to Santa Paula to visit Addison's great grandmother Doris. She kept calling Addison "Agatha", but we forgave her...actually, we quized her so many times that now she actually does remember her name. Oh, Grandmother. Addison banged on the piano and we definitely had to take the "4 generations" picture.

Palm Springs

Our trip to Palm Springs began with a 3.5 hour drive from Santa Barbara in our rented mini-van (babies have so much gear!) in which we were all a bit nervous about how Addison would beahve. Turns out she was great! She even grasped onto a rattle on her own for the first time. Very entertaining! We had a great time with the fam, including Auntie Shana from San Diego. DJ played massive amounts of golf, and the girls enjoyed time by the pool and a spa day at the Miramonte - beautiful! Addison was in loving hands (although not ours) the whole time, so it was a nice break for mom and dad. She slept through every meal out, splashed in the pool and learned to take the bottle like a pro. It was hot (100 degrees!) but as we all know..."It's a dry heat" which actually does make it extremely bearable. All in all, a very enjoyable 5 days!

California continued - Beach House at Faria Beach, Ventura

Addison had a great time at the beach and so did we! We had perfect weather, surfed, relaxed, went on walks , stargazed, had bonfires with smores and saw MANY friends. Addison slept the best she has ever slept during our stay at the beach house. Check back for more pictures from Palm Springs and Santa Barbara.....
